About what percent do you have to get on the AP Chemistry test in order to get at least a 3?

Kanan asked:

I have the AP Chemistry test on the 12th and I would like to know if it’s even remotely possible for me to pass it with a 3. Anyone who has any insight, I would appreciate the answer.

lol I’m also taking it on the 12th. Good luck! Don’t worry, 3 isn’t that hard to get. If your teacher is anything like mine, most of the stuff he/she gives you is a lot harder than the actual test.
Well these are the approximate score ranges from previous tests:

    5:60-88
    4:50-59
    3:40-49
    2:30-39
    1:0-29

you need to score 60% in order to get a 5, so i think getting a 3 won’t be that hard as long as you know what you’re doing …
    i’m taking the test on tuesday too…and it’s TOMORROW~~~ since i live in china…HELP >

I am taking it as well! I think if you get 60% overall, you should be in great shape. My teacher said that if you get 45% of the free response correct and 2 multiple choice right, you WILL pass. I am hoping for a 4. Good luck!

It is remotely possible to pass with a 3, in fact, I have heard a surprising number of people getting 5s on the AP Chem test.

But I hope you knew the information. My teacher told my class not to bother learning certain info, and the entire test was on the chapters and subjects my teacher failed to teach us.

So, while some might have found it easy, I – on the other hand – found it to be a lost cause. Safe to say I didn’t get a 3.
