Hey guys I have a chemistry test tomorrow ! It is a test on electrons neutrons and protons.
i have just a few questions
what is the nucleus of the atom held together by?
Can you tell me more about isotopes?
What are the “Must Remembers” about atoms? what must i know before the test? the test will be all on atoms
oh and isotopes such as hydrogen 1 hydrogen 2 and hydrogen 3 are atoms of the same element that differ in what?
thanks a bunch

Isotopes are atoms of the same element that differ in the number of neutrons. For instance hydrogens atomic number (number of protons) is 1 so if it’s atomic mass (how much it weighs) is 2 then it means it has 1 proton and 1 neutron and if it weighs 3 then it means it has 2 neutrons. The number of protons an element has never changes. Hope that helps!
