Tips for studying for a chemistry test, and taking chem tests?

I hated chem, with a passion, I took a lot of notes and then retyped them this way they were easier to remember…index cards for the formulas and such. Practice problems, basically if you know how to go through the steps you are all set. So find someone else to study with, it is usually easier to get directions from someone your age who understands that this stuff is hard, and they can usually teach you better, maybe they have easier ways to memorize because that is what it is. Memorization of the processes. Hope you have time to devote to your studying. Just keep at it. Good Luck
Make sure you know all of the materials..if not, then ask someone or the teacher. Make sure to manage your time productively while you’re taking it. Other than that, I don’t know what else you can do. You may have to memorize certain compounds or molecules. There are a few common ones you have to know. Also, try reading the book. I never paid attention in class, but I read the book and still had a A in the class. Good Luck!!!
